Oh god. Yes, they're back. Can you still remember your kiddo days when you were singing your heart out while dancing to the tune of the Spice Girls?! Oooohhh. Sinong ginaya mo sa kanila? Kung may barkada ka noon, sino ka...BABY?? SPORTY?? Haha! Hyper un man. I know, been there done that. Hahaha! Actually, til now. LOL.In the early to mid 1990s, the pop music culture was dominated by boy bands not until SPICE GIRLS came and “over-girl-powered” them out of the scene. BOO Y'ALL!
Spice Girls is one of the most successful and biggest girl groups of all time, due to their increasing international record sales, reunion tour, merchandising, record breaking achievements, and iconic symbolism, "Girl Power", and their nicknames:
POSH, SCARY, BABY, SPORTY, GINGER
Speaking of "GIRL POWER"
The phrase was a label for the particular facet of feminist empowerment embraced by the band: that a sensual, feminine appearance and equality between the sexes need not be mutually exclusive. Its message of empowerment appealed to young girls, adolescents and adult women, and it emphasized the importance of strong, loyal friendship among females. In all, the focused, consistent presentation of "girl power" formed the centrepiece of their appeal as a band.
